In December, the California Teachers Association (CTA) announced a partnership with Stanford University for a three-year project to provide professional learning opportunities to educators statewide related to the Common Core State Standards (CCSS). The Instructional Leadership Corps (ILC) project involves 160 accomplished teachers and 24 education leaders and administrators who are creating professional development strategies and materials to support their colleagues in learning about and implementing CCSS and the Next Generation Science Standards.
