The California Labor Management Initiative provides support for union-management teams who are seeking ways to build capacity and cultivate a culture of collaboration that empowers educators to deepen student learning. Working with the Consortium for Educational Change (CEC) and faculty from Rutgers University, the CA LMI is pleased to offer the Orientation of Labor-Management Partnership Facilitators to train people in supporting schools and districts engaged in this work.
This is a great opportunity to help districts (and the state of California) build capacity within their own schools and districts (as well as with partnering organizations such as union field staff or other agencies in position to support the work of the districts). This training is specifically designed to train those in attendance about how to support a collaborative community.
